The Delta WASP 40100 Clay 3D Printer delivers fast and accurate performance using only ceramic and dense fluid materials. This 40100 Clay 3D Printer prints clay with speeds of up to 150mm/s and you will be able to print highly detailed objects with layer heights down to 0.5 mm. With a clean and compact design, the aluminium and steel structure guarantees stability and precision, obtaining quality prints with dense fluid materials.

Clay Only Model:

The Delta WASP 40100 Clay 3D printer cannot be used with plastic solutions, only ceramic. This printer is designed to work specifically with dense fluid materials such as porcelain, extruding it to create pieces of the highest quality. If you want to be able to print plastic and clay then the original Delta WASP 2040 Pro comes fitted with a plastic extruder and a separate clay extruder option.

*When printing with dense materials on clay 3D printers, you will need to use an air compressor to get rid of all the air bubbles in the material tank, this is so the mixture can flow through the extruder smoothly without any breaks. You can use any EU specified air compressor with 3.5 - 5.5 bar pressure, which you can get online or at a hardware store. The printer comes with a pressure gauge and all fittings included to connect the air compressor to the tank.

New Innovated Design:

The Delta WASP 40100 Clay 3D Printer has an extruder pressure chamber mounted into the machine so that you only need to provide compressed air to get an integrated clay solution. In addition it has an open frame for better access, which is beneficial for clay modelling and has a removable base to print directly onto the floor.

No Stop Print:

Unlike the 20 40 Clay model, the Delta 40100 Clay 3D Printer gives you the option to print on a removable stainless steel printing bed print, or directly onto the floor! Broadening the potential and creativity of your work. For each piece printed, You can continue printing without waiting for the piece to dry simply by moving the printer.

LDM WASP Extruder XL:

Wasp has created the LDM WASP Extruder XL, a new and faster extruder to print with the toughest dense ceramic fluid materials. It has a high torque motor that enables the printing of harder mixtures and therefore faster prints by taking advantage of the entire printing volume of the Delta WASP 40100 Clay. It has a degasser extruder that avoids air bubbles in the mixture, eliminating the probability of air bubbles and reducing the risk of interruptions to the print, guaranteeing smooth results. With this technology it is possible to precisely manage the flow of the output material until the use of the retraction to stop the deposition.

The LDM Extruder XL comes with the dedicated cap for the tank (3L / 5L), the connecting tube from an extruder cap, a conical plastic nozzle and four stainless steel nozzles with different diameters: 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm.

*Note that if you select the XL Extruder in the machine option, you will receive only the XL Extruder factory fitted to the machine. To purchase the XL Extruder in addition to the standard clay extruder please add the XL Extruder as an add on.

WASP Free Zed System:

The Delta WASP 40100 Clay 3D Printer does have a resurrection system, but it also has the Free Zed System, a new and different solution to recovering prints. The Free Zed System can recover prints where it is not possible to use the resurrection function, or if after you have your print has been resurrected, the print is not to standard and needs to be reprinted.
