As well as offering the Leapfrog 3D Printers, Daemon3D Print are now also offering the Leapfrog filaments...

The Leapfrog filaments range includes:

Leapfrog MAXX PRO PLA
This filament is an enhanced version of Leapfrogs normal PLA filament. It has an improved formula which reduces the chance of splitting between separate layers and gives more intense colours, without losing its biodegradable and user friendly characteristics. Your prints will be of high quality and will look amazing as well! It is available in a wide range of colours.

Leapfrog MAXX Essentials ABS
This filament has the right properties making strong, high impact and durable prints. ABS is widely used in products and toys, like car bumpers, house-hold appliances and Lego! It can be finished with an acetone vapour, which will make your parts look polished and smooth. It is available in a wide range of colours.

Leapfrog Engineering Filaments
The use of 3D printing for prototyping has increased and reached the level of producing functional models and products. For instance, FDM 3D printing is maturing into a more and more versatile tool, which is resulting in a wider range of professional FDM 3D printers available in the market. Therefore, the more professional users use 3D printers, the higher is the demand for more durable and reliable filaments. Leapfrog offer a wide range of filaments for industrial prototyping and manufacturing within the professional sector.

Leapfrog Special Materials
Leapfrog offers a wide range of special materials including the Leapfrog MAXX PRO Nylon, which is a strong, rigid material than can withstand much more pressure than ABS and the nylon printing properties are better than ABS. Also, in this range is the Leapfrog MAXX PRO Hybrid filament, this filament’s properties are between PLA and ABS, it’s more durable than PLA, without the downside of possible warping.

While the Leapfrog printers will of course print with filaments from any manufacturer, Leapfrog have developed printing profiles for all of their materials, and also profiles for Leapfrog materials used in combination with each other. These profiles can be downloaded and ensure that you start printing from the best settings that Leapfrogs’ technical team have to offer! Of course, you can tweak them up to give you the exact finish you need as your experience grows.
