New to our 3D Print range is the DeltaWASP series by WASP 3D Printing. The DeltaWASP series includes 3 printers, the DeltaWASP 20 40, the turbo version of this is dubbed “the Ferrari of 3D Printers”, the DeltaWASP 40 70 and the DeltaWASP 60 100.  We have 5 new products altogether, including the 3 new DeltaWASP 3D printers, the PowerWasp EVO 3D Printer, which is a regular cartesian printer but with the addition of a CNC tool and Wasp Projects unique new clay extruder.

The DeltaWASP printers are very similar in terms of print resolution and materials capabilities, however, they do have very different print volumes. The smallest, the 20 40, has a print volume of 200mm by 400mm. The 40 70 has over double this with a print volume of 400mm by 700mm. The 60 100 however, is the biggest available printer with a huge print volume of 600mm by 1000mm. All the printers feature a closed chamber and a heated bed.

There is also a Turbo version available for the DeltaWASP 20 40. This dramatically increases the maximum extrusion speed, from 300mm/s on the original, to 600mm/s on the Turbo. All of the DeltaWasp machines use a Delta style robot system compared to the traditional cartesian style of most FDM printers, which naturally improves the basic print accuracy over traditional XYZ systems.

The DeltaWASP 20 40 has already established a fine reputation among the 3D print community, with owners saying ‘the machine is an industrial build, but with all the open source qualities’. It has been voted in the top 10 3D printers for enthusiasts by 3D Hubs, who base their lists on over 5000 reviews.

The DeltaWasps have the capability of printing with a range of different materials such as ABS, PLA, Nylon and other experimental filaments. But the possibilities of these printers can be expanded even further by purchasing the Clay Extruder Kit. This kit is available for all the WASP Delta 3D Printers. It will allow your printer to print with ceramic and fluid-dense materials, such as clay and porcelain., extending engineering to art.

One of the key features in The DeltaWASP series, is the revolutionary 'Stop & Save' Resurrection System, which not only pauses prints but will allow the user to recover data and continue a print after the power has been switched off - whether that’s due to a power cut/failure or the power being turned off manually.

The Wasps traditional cartesian PowerWASP EVO, is still unique, as it comes with the option of adding a CNC mill, which expands the possibilities of what the printer can make, by combining 3D Printing & traditional mechanical manufacture processes in a single machine.
