How Try Before You Buy Works
Our Try Before You Buy scheme allows you to evaluate selected professional 3D scanners and LiDAR scanners in your own working environment before committing to a purchase.
Selected SHINING 3D handheld scanners and 3DMakerpro LiDAR scanners may be available through the scheme, subject to availability.
1. Tell Us What You Want to Scan
Complete the enquiry form and let us know which scanner you are considering, what you would like to scan and how you plan to use the data.
Our team can help identify a suitable scanner and confirm whether an evaluation unit is available.
2. Rent the Scanner for Evaluation
We arrange a short-term rental so you can test the scanner on your own objects, parts, buildings or environments using your own workflow.
This gives you the opportunity to assess areas such as scan quality, accuracy, ease of use, scanning speed, software workflow, file compatibility and overall suitability for your application.
3. Decide Whether It Is Right for You
At the end of the agreed rental period, the evaluation unit must be returned to Daemon 3D Print.
If you decide to purchase a new eligible scanner within 30 days of returning the rental unit, the rental fee you paid will be credited against the purchase price.
Delivery and return shipping costs are excluded from this credit.
Eligible Scanners
The scheme is available on selected products only and may include scanners from the SHINING 3D / EinScan range and selected 3DMakerpro LiDAR scanners, including systems from the Raven range.
Availability varies by model, so please contact us if you have a particular scanner in mind.
Rental Unit Condition
The rental unit must be returned in good condition and complete with all supplied accessories and components.
Missing or damaged equipment may be charged separately and will not form part of the purchase credit.
Purchase Credit
If you purchase a new eligible scanner within 30 days of returning the rental unit, the rental fee paid will be deducted from the purchase price.
Delivery and return shipping costs are excluded. The credit cannot be exchanged for cash and additional rental terms may apply depending on the equipment supplied.
