| How does it work?
Phrozen resin 3D printers use Masked Stereolithography (MSLA), a technique where liquid photopolymer resin is solidified layer by layer using light. The process starts with a vat filled with UV-sensitive resin and a build platform that moves up and down. Beneath the resin vat, an LCD screen displays the pattern for each model layer, and a UV light source shines through the screen. The light cures the resin in the exact shape needed for that layer, with the platform moving incrementally to allow the next layer to be cured on top.
This method allows Phrozen printers to create highly detailed models quickly since entire layers are cured simultaneously. After printing, the object usually requires post-processing, such as rinsing in isopropyl alcohol and additional UV curing to improve durability. Phrozen printers are known for their high resolution, speed, and versatility, making them suitable for a wide range of applications, from intricate models to specialised resins for dental work.
