Anisoprint AURA Slicer Software
Anisoprint AURA is slicing software developed for preparing plastic and continuous-fibre composite 3D prints. Designed around Anisoprint's Composite Fibre Co-extrusion technology, AURA gives users control over both conventional FFF printing and the placement of reinforcing fibres within a part.
The software can generate reinforcement trajectories layer by layer, allowing engineers, manufacturers, researchers and other Anisoprint users to configure reinforced perimeters, infill structures and layup strategies according to the mechanical requirements of the component.
Prepare Reinforced Composite Parts
AURA is designed to prepare models for both standard plastic extrusion and continuous-fibre composite printing. Reinforcement can be applied through fibre perimeters and reinforced infill, with different reinforcement strategies used across individual layers or groups of layers.
The software also supports Anisoprint's macrolayer approach, allowing thicker layers to be used within the internal structure while thinner layers form the external shell. This gives users additional control over the balance between print time, surface detail and the internal structure of the finished component.
From 3D Model to Printable G-code
AURA provides the tools required to import, position and prepare models before generating print-ready G-code. Supported model formats include STL, STEP/STP, 3DS and OBJ, making the software suitable for workflows beginning with either mesh files or compatible CAD exports.
Printing parameters, printer configurations, materials and profiles can be managed within the software, while complex models can be prepared with automatically generated support structures and viewed layer by layer before printing. Model processing takes place locally on the user's computer rather than through a cloud slicing service.
