FLUX Beamo 2 30W CO₂ Laser Cutter & Engraver

The FLUX Beamo 2 brings professional CO₂ laser cutting and engraving into a compact desktop machine designed for makers, schools, creative studios and small businesses. Its 30W CO₂ laser can cut and engrave a wide range of materials, including wood, acrylic, leather, fabric and card, while also engraving materials such as glass, stone and anodised metal.

Compact CO₂ Laser Cutting Without Compromising Capability

Cut clear and coloured acrylic, wood and other everyday materials with a 30W CO₂ laser, a 360 × 240 mm working area and engraving speeds of up to 750 mm/s.

Building on the original Beamo, the Beamo 2 introduces a larger 360 × 240 mm working area, built-in autofocus, an 8MP camera preview system and engraving speeds of up to 750 mm/s. This makes it easier to move from artwork to a finished project while maintaining the compact footprint that made Beamo popular.

Optional accessories allow the Beamo 2 to grow alongside your applications. Add the 2W infrared laser for direct metal marking, use rotary accessories for cylindrical objects, install the Extension Base for taller workpieces or combine it with the Auto Feeder for longer sheet materials.

30W CO₂ Laser for Cutting and Engraving

At the heart of the Beamo 2 is a 30W CO₂ glass laser tube operating at a wavelength of 10.6 μm. Unlike blue diode lasers, CO₂ technology can process clear as well as coloured acrylic, giving businesses and makers considerably more choice when producing signage, displays, models, prototypes and decorative products.

FLUX specifies cutting of acrylic up to 7 mm thick under suitable conditions, alongside materials including plywood, MDF, leather, cardboard, fabric and bamboo. The same laser can engrave materials including wood, acrylic, glass, stone, rubber and anodised metal, allowing one machine to cover a broad range of creative and commercial applications.

360 × 240 mm Work Area in a Compact Desktop Machine

The Beamo 2 provides a 360 × 240 mm CO₂ processing area, giving users more room for signs, models, personalised products, prototypes and batches of smaller components without moving to a much larger industrial laser system.

Despite its usable work area, the complete machine measures approximately 710 × 474 × 208 mm. Its enclosed desktop format makes it particularly well suited to schools, universities, studios, workshops and small businesses where available workspace matters just as much as laser performance.

8MP Camera Preview, Autofocus and Red Light Alignment

FLUX Beamo 2 8MP camera preview and automatic focusing system

The Beamo 2 is designed to reduce the setup normally associated with laser cutting. Its built-in autofocus system measures the material height and positions the laser at the correct working distance, helping users move between materials without repeatedly setting focus by hand.

An integrated 8MP camera provides a visual preview of the material inside the machine, allowing artwork to be positioned directly over the workpiece in Beam Studio. A visible red-light preview can also show the planned processing area before the laser begins, providing another useful alignment check for valuable or pre-cut materials.

Engraving Speeds up to 750 mm/s

With a maximum movement speed of up to 750 mm/s, the Beamo 2 is designed to complete engraving work more efficiently than the original generation while maintaining detailed output at resolutions of up to 1,000 DPI.

Faster engraving is particularly useful for businesses producing personalised products, signage, labels, gifts or repeated designs. Combined with camera positioning and preset material parameters, this helps reduce the amount of manual setup required between individual jobs.

Optional 2W Infrared Laser for Direct Metal Marking

FLUX Beamo 2 optional 2W infrared laser module for metal marking

The optional 2W 1064 nm infrared laser module extends the Beamo 2 beyond conventional CO₂ applications. It can directly mark compatible metals including stainless steel, aluminium, copper, gold, silver, iron and titanium, as well as selected engineering plastics and opaque acrylic.

This gives users two different laser technologies within the same machine platform. The standard CO₂ source can handle cutting and general engraving, while the infrared module can be installed when a project requires finer permanent marking on compatible metal surfaces.

Beam Studio Workflow with LightBurn Compatibility

FLUX Beam Studio provides a complete workflow for preparing projects, positioning artwork, configuring cutting and engraving layers and sending jobs directly to the Beamo 2. Supported file formats include JPG, PNG, SVG, DXF, PDF and AI, making it straightforward to import artwork produced in commonly used design applications.

The Beamo 2 also supports LightBurn for users who already work with the popular third-party laser software. This gives experienced operators additional workflow flexibility while retaining Beam Studio for FLUX-specific features such as camera-guided positioning.

Expand Your Beamo 2 as Your Applications Grow

FLUX Beamo 2 Extension Base rotary and Auto Feeder accessories

The Beamo 2 can be expanded with a range of optional accessories. The Extension Base increases the available workpiece depth to as much as 155 mm, providing additional clearance for taller objects and enabling compatible rotary accessories to engrave bottles, tumblers, glasses and other cylindrical products.

For longer flat materials, the optional Auto Feeder can extend the processing length to as much as 1,000 mm. This allows designs to extend significantly beyond the standard work area and opens up applications such as longer signs, panels and repeated production work. Appropriate safety procedures must be followed when operating configurations that change the machine's laser classification.
