THE K8™ PC
THE K8™ PC is a high-performance polycarbonate filament engineered to address the common challenges of printing PC on desktop 3D printers. With reduced warping, strong interlayer adhesion, and excellent thermal resistance, it enables the production of durable, load-bearing parts suitable for demanding applications. This material is well suited for functional prototypes, engineering components, and heat-resistant assemblies where toughness and stability are essential.

Selecting the appropriate PC grade for the operating temperature and mechanical loads can help prevent early component failure and avoid unnecessary material use. PC waste should be collected separately for assessment by a specialist recycler. Recovery depends on the grade, additives and contamination, and flame-retardant PC should be identified separately. These filaments should not be treated as compostable materials. Kexcelled’s published safety data sheets for K8 PC, K10 PC and K9 PC FR declare RoHS conformity and conformity with the US TSCA chemical inventory. These are supplier declarations within the scope and dates of those documents; current requirements for the specific grade and colour should be confirmed before use in a regulated application. |
