THE K9™ PC FR
THE K9™ PC FR combines the mechanical strength of polycarbonate with a UL94 V-0 flame-retardant rating, making it suitable for parts that require both durability and enhanced fire safety. Its formulation supports high-speed printing up to 500 mm/s while maintaining strong layer adhesion and dimensional stability. This makes it ideal for robust functional components, protective housings, and applications where reliability under heat and stress is essential.

Selecting the appropriate PC grade for the operating temperature and mechanical loads can help prevent early component failure and avoid unnecessary material use. PC waste should be collected separately for assessment by a specialist recycler. Recovery depends on the grade, additives and contamination, and flame-retardant PC should be identified separately. These filaments should not be treated as compostable materials.
