WASP Manual Feeding System for 40100 Clay / 40100 LDM

The WASP Manual Feeding System is an LDM extruder designed for testing and 3D printing with dense fluid materials such as cement and geopolymers. It is built for use with the Delta WASP 40100 Clay / 40100 LDM platform, giving users a practical way to experiment with non-standard paste materials without relying on a continuous feeding setup.

This system uses a stainless steel cone with a 2.5 litre capacity, allowing material to be poured directly into the hopper during printing. This makes it useful for research, material testing, artistic work, education, design studios, and small-batch experimentation where the operator wants direct control over the material feed.

Manual Material Loading

The material is loaded manually by pouring it directly into the cone-shaped hopper. This allows the user to top up the material during the print process and makes the system well suited to testing cement-based mixes, geopolymers, and other dense LDM-compatible materials.

Integrated Mixing and Controlled Flow

Inside the stainless steel hopper, a mixer helps keep the material moving to support consistent extrusion and reduce the risk of premature hardening. The flow is controlled by a technopolymer screw driven by a stepper motor, helping deliver material through the nozzle in a controlled way during printing.
