Anycubic’s Dual Resin 3D Printer: A Big Step Forward for Resin Printing

Resin 3D printing has come a long way over the last few years, with faster print speeds, higher resolutions, and more reliable machines becoming the norm. One of the most interesting recent developments is the introduction of dual-resin printing, led by Anycubic with the launch of the Photon P1.

This new approach allows two different resins to be used in a single print, opening the door to more complex parts, mixed material properties, and new professional workflows that were previously difficult or impossible with standard resin printers.

What Is Dual Resin 3D Printing?

Traditional resin printers use a single vat filled with one type of resin. If you want to change material or colour, the print must stop, the vat must be cleaned, and the resin swapped manually.
